Summary:
The game machine technician will perform preventative maintenance to all machines to ensure they are functioning accurately (training will be provided) and will be responsible for troubleshooting/repairing/ of both machines and associated systems when a malfunction occurs as well as installation/removal/exchange of equipment at various locations within the service area.
The game machine technician will work at warehouse when needed performing whatever tasks needed including building, repairing, moving, and/or cleaning games.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the Amusement/Gaming Industry and a desire to advance their career within an amazing and seasoned company.
Key
Responsibilities:
Perform basic troubleshooting techniques on the main components of a gaming cabinet as well as installation or replacement of parts (bill acceptors, printers, monitors, etc) Verify POS/server issues like power, internet connectivity, printer installation, default settings, etc.
Software management and troubleshooting locations throughout the defined service area Prepare/install servers and computers including desks, monitors, cabling, etc.
Safely move equipment to and from warehouse/locations Perform all preventative maintenance on each type of machine Maintain proper documentation of repairs, installs, removals, and exchanges Perform appropriate wiring of a location using Cat5 cabling Provide exceptional service to our customers Perform all other duties as assigned Skill set & Requirements:
Must be able to operate hand tools, soldering equipment, electrical testing equipment, and other diagnostic equipment as needed (tools will be provided) Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to pass a background check Preferred to have at least 2
years' experience with Basic Networking Preferred to have at least 2
years' experience in Customer Service and/or Technical Support Excellent oral and written communication skills Must possess the ability to manage tasks independently Must be honest, trustworthy and a team player Must possess and maintain a clean driving record Able to obtain DOT medical card Ability to handle physical workload Ability to adhere to all company policies Must be willing to travel out of state Job

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
